Hi! Welcome to my personal tech learning blog. The aim of this site is to document my learning as a software engineer; both in the professional setting as well as my personal interests.

I started writing software initially as part of my original BSc in Physics. This lead to the realisation that I found far more satisfaction solving software problems. After completing my BSc Physics I completed a MSc Software Development before finally ending up where I am now; an engineer at Kaluza.

Professional Experience

Kaluza is an intelligent energy platform. I am currently working on building backend serverless (AWS) TypeScript/Scala applications.

Personal Interests

Personally my interests lie more in the Rust language and in lower level development. I am planning to start 2022 by digging my teeth into graphics programming and having a look at OpenGL. I will use glium, a rusty wrapper around OpenGL. Keep an eye on this page for my first post soon!
